The Catawba-Wateree River Basin remains under Stage 2 Drought Restrictions, and mandatory water conservation measures continue to be in effect. At this time, there has been no announcement from the Catawba-Wateree Drought Management Advisory Group (CW-DMAG) indicating when these restrictions will be lifted.
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing drought conditions and the need to conserve water, the Ranlo Splash Pad will remain closed for the foreseeable future.
We understand this is disappointing, especially as summer approaches, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we work together to protect our regional water supply.
We will continue to monitor updates from CW-DMAG and will provide additional information as it becomes available.
Thank you for your understanding and for doing your part to conserve water.
