Rules of Procedure – Staff Research Requests (Rule 30) The Board amended the meeting agenda to add discussion of Rule 30 governing staff workload.
- Rule 30 requires that any Board request for staff research, evaluation, or analysis expected to take more than four hours be brought back to the Board for approval before staff proceeds.
Employee Policy Manual Overhaul The Board approved an initiative to overhaul the town’s employee policy manual.

Public Comment – Traffic and Speeding Resident Melvin Dent addressed the Board regarding increased traffic and speeding following recent development in the community.

“Roll Back Jack” Trash Can Service Proposal A private company presented a proposal, “Roll Back Jack,” to move residential trash cans for residents for ADA compliance and safety purposes.
- The Board declined the proposal, noting the town already provides assistance to residents in need through an existing list.
South Ranlo Waterline Replacement Staff provided an update on the South Ranlo waterline replacement project.
- The project is approximately 10% complete.
- A HUD-funded second phase will follow shortly after.
