Administration

The Administration Department oversees the day-to-day operations of the Town of Ranlo and serves as the primary point of contact for residents, staff, and elected officials.

About This Department

The Town of Ranlo Administration Department is responsible for implementing the policies and directives of the Board of Commissioners, managing town operations, and ensuring efficient delivery of services to Ranlo’s nearly 5,000 residents.

The department is led by Town Manager Charlie Hansen, who was appointed by the Board of Commissioners in January 2024. Charlie brings ten years of local and state government leadership experience from municipalities in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He has played a leading role in developing multiple municipal strategic plans and most recently managed a $13,000,000 operations budget for a public school of innovation in South Carolina.

The Administration office also houses Utility Billing, which processes approximately 1,700 monthly bills and accepts payments via drop box, drive-through window, and online through MyGovHub. Automatic bank draft is also available.

Utility Billing

Utility bills are due on the 15th of each month. To avoid disconnection, payment must be received by 5:00 PM on the 25th. Disconnections for nonpayment occur on the 26th or the following business day. Payments made after 5:00 PM on the 25th will incur a $50.00 late fee.
